Dr K. Elizabeth Storjohann (Dr. Liz)

I have always enjoyed understanding how the world works and specifically how to improve ones health.   Naturopathic Medicine was the missing link in my understanding of health. Our health can be supported or destroyed by the choices we make on a daily basis. Naturopathic Doctors provide the tools to patients to take back their responsibility to their health.

When a patient presents with a health complaint, there is always a block or cause for which the health has declined. Naturopathic doctors are trained to find the cause and to support and build back the strength and balance the immune system. Educating the patient about how their health can be supported and restored allows them to take charge of their own health. Often this filters out to their friends and family who subsequently also choose to take responsibility for their health.

Naturopathic Medicine, is a medicine rooted in traditional and evidenced based research that removes obstacles to heal.  This is done through nutrition, acupuncture, hydrotherapy, homeopathy and more.   Where was this when I grew up.  Thankfully I grew up in a time where home cooking, food processing, canning, gardening, butchering was a basic part of my upbringing. Traditional foods and ways of life were fundamental in shaping my immune system. Thankfully the tides are changing and there are more people using the traditional / nature based medicine.

I have been a licensed Naturopathic Doctor for 24 years with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario.

I am licensed to practice acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. These methods are used to correct imbalance in the body, which can manifest as different symptoms such as pain, poor circulation, sleeping disorders and many more.

I am registered with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO).

I invite you to come and explore how to improve your health through diet, homeopathy, herbs, and traditional Chinese medicine.
